Gold Filled jewelry has a substantial layer of 14K gold permanently bonded to a base metal.

Unlike traditional gold plating, the gold layer is much thicker and, with proper care, can be enjoyed for many years.

Hanalani Jewelry uses 14K Gold Filled for many of our everyday pieces because it offers the beautiful look and feel of gold without the price of solid gold.

The 14K Yellow Gold Filled used in Hanalani Jewelry has a soft, warm yellow tone with a subtle rosy hue.

Gold color can vary depending on karat, alloy, and manufacturer, so it may not exactly match other gold jewelry you already own.

Sterling Silver naturally tarnishes over time, especially when exposed to humidity, salty air, cosmetics, and chemicals. This is completely normal and can usually be easily polished away with a jewelry polishing cloth.
